Does Ckourse move, rename or modify my files?
No. Ckourse reads the folder you point it at and leaves it exactly as it found it. It builds the course structure in its own local database, so your files are never renamed, moved or re-encoded.
Does Ckourse work completely offline?
Yes. Ckourse runs entirely on your machine and plays local video files. There is no cloud sync and no server component — your courses and your progress never leave your computer.
Is Ckourse really free?
Yes. Ckourse is free and open source under the MIT license. There is no paid tier, no trial, and no upsell. You can read or fork the source on GitHub.
Which platforms does Ckourse support?
Ckourse is available for macOS as a universal build for both Apple Silicon and Intel, and for Windows on x64. Linux support is planned for a future release.
